City of Oroville issued the following announcement.
North State Auctions will be hosting an online auction displaying a large variety of City of Oroville’s antique museum collection on January 9th-13th, 2021.
Items have been stored for many years in the Chinese Temple Annex building and have been assessed, sorted by museum, and moved to its respective museum for display. All items being auctioned have been deemed as being the wrong period for the museum collection, a duplicate, or in a condition unsuitable for display by City of Oroville Docents. Many items that have a specific tie to Oroville but did not meet the collection criteria of any of the City of Oroville Museums will be up for auction to the public.
Items up for auction were approved by City Council on 11/03/2020 and 12/15/2020. All revenues received from the auction will be used solely for City of Oroville museum related purposes as detailed in Resolution No.8129.

Bidding Starts: Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12:00:00 am PT
Bidding Ends: Wednesday, January 13, 2021 between 10:00:00 am and 11:42:00 am PT

Inspection: Available Sat 1/9/21 from 9:00am - 1:00pm and Monday 1/11/21 from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Payment Due: Full payment must be made no later than 4 pm (PT) on Friday 1/15/2021.
