SACRAMENTO – Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher of Yuba City has issued a statement following the death of President Jimmy Carter. Gallagher praised Carter for his life characterized by faith, humility, and service.
"President Carter lived a life of faith, humility, and service," Gallagher said. He highlighted Carter's work with Habitat for Humanity, noting that he "gave generously of his time and expertise," which set an example of serving with purpose and compassion.
Gallagher remarked on the legacy left by Carter through his dedication to faith and helping others. He concluded by offering condolences to the Carter family: "I extend my condolences to the Carter family."
